Corporate Administrators are involved in almost every organisational function, from policy implementation and asset management to corporate-social responsibility and information management. A good knowledgeable corporate administrator is a great asset for any company which offers corporate services.
This programme is built on more than 12 years of day-to-day experience with junior and senior corporate lawyers and corporate administrators and will focus in practice and basic theory, a combination which enables corporate administrators, not to perform tasks mechanically, but to understand the procedures with the Registrar of Companies and the structuring and restructuring of Cyprus Companies.
Participants shall acquire a solid understanding of the types of Cyprus companies, the relationship between members and officers and their respective obligations and liabilities, the nature of the share capital, the business of Directors’ and Shareholders’ Meetings and their respective Resolutions.
Through practical examples HE forms will be completed and the bank account opening procedure shall be presented.

Mary – Olive McCluskey obtained a Law Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, then pursued an LL.M in European Law (University of Exeter, UK) and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2006. She is a practicing advocate (Nicosia Bar Association) with broad experience in civil and commercial law and litigation and company administrative services. She is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner since 2015 with experience in loan restructuring, debt collection, liquidation and bankruptcy. She is registered in the public registry of CySEC certified persons (CySEC Advanced). She is an active member of the Shipping and Aviation Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. Her mother language is Greek and she is fluent in English in the advanced level, registered with the Cyprus Register of Sworn Translators.
Marios Mortis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting, a Master’s in Banking and Finance, and he is a qualified member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Marios has developed and conducted professional training courses on corporate reporting, Accounting and Finance, and Financial Workshops. He had, also, participated to researches on the area of finance and accounting in both academic and professional level. He has a working experience in the accounting, audit, advisory, assurance and banking sectors in various positions and companies in Cyprus. During last 4 years Marios continued his path in the education field which is a challenging and interesting field for him. He currently works as a Visitor Academic for a local University in Cyprus, where he is teaching courses such as Corporate Governance and Business Ethics, Corporate Finance, Corporate Risk Management and Audit and Assurance. He also holds the position of Trainer & Accountancy Programmes Leader for a local institute where among others he is teaching many courses of various accountancy qualifications, such as the Cash and Treasury Management, Credit Management, Governance, Ethics, and Risks, Management Accounting, and Indirect Tax.
Training Style and Knowledge Test
Training method to be used is modern e-learning or distance learning with the Zoom method. That is, the simultaneous participation of trainees and an instructor in the learning process is required.The training techniques are lecture, discussion, avalanche, questions – answers, brainstorming and practice. The specific techniques are suitable for the nature of the subject of the seminar, the educational style of the trainer and the learning outcomes. Explanation of the necessary theory behind practice shall be made and progresses with a focus on the documents and procedures. Electronic material and hard copies shall be delivered to participants. Role play and brainstorming shall also be applied during delivery.
The training tools are the computer, the internet and the training manual. The training materials are provided by the Zoom platform and are the Whiteboard and other materials available online. At the completion of the knowledge areas, participants will be assessed via the form of Multiple-Choice Questions which will consist of questions related to the material taught. The aim of the assessment is to examine participants’ overall attention and knowledge of material taught as well as their competencies towards the implementation of practical cases.
This programme may be approved for up to 28 CPD units in Law and Corporate Administration. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by your association, regulator or other bodies which you hold membership.
